Green Acres is a challenging and fun disc golf course that takes about an hour to play. A great way to spend a sunny day in the alpine.
Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball and clubs, players use flying discs, much like a Frisbee. A specially weighted golf disc is thrown from a tee area to a target, which is the "hole". The most common hole is a chain-link basket.
As a player progresses down the fairway, each shot must be taken from where the previous throw lands. Our course has long and short tee-offs on each hole and there is a variety of "hazards" that makes each hole challenging and fun. Our 9 hole disc golf course is located next to the Alpine Lodge and is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family. It’s a Par 31 course, and takes about an hour to play.
If you have been wondering what all the hype is around disc golf, now is a great time to come and play for yourself. You can also catch some of our local experts make some extraordinary shots on this challenging mountain course. You can spend some time at “Hole # 10”, Fat Teddy’s Restaurant, for an exciting après with cool beverages and delicious menu choices.
